In our society, rulers have practically turned their backs on the masses. One of the only sectors people still have faith in is the education sector. Unfortunately, this profession has also been occupied by opportunists in government-run institutions.
For example, in Taunsa, the Degree College has 1000 enrolled students but there is hardly any check on the faculty. Teachers do not even attend classes regularly. Furthermore, they are associated with other educational institutions where the tuition fees are almost Rs3000 for each student per subject. That same amount is equivalent to the average cost of running a household in Tounsa. Teachers encourage their students to join these academies rather than teach in the college. There is a dire need to purge this profession of opportunists. I urge the concerned authorities to take notice of this situation.
