ISLAMABAD: The Senate will meet for a special session here on Wednesday (August 05) to pay tributes to the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) and express its complete solidarity with them in their on-going struggle for liberation from Indian occupation. The president has summoned the Senate, which will meet At 10;30am at the Parliament House and parliamentary leaders of political parties and senators will express their views on the significance of Youm-e-Istehsal and how important it was to find a just solution to Kashmir issue, which was lingering for the last several decades. A notification for the special session has been issued. The House will also adopt a resolution and ministers will also speak during the proceedings. The proposal for a special session was aired during the recently prorogued session, which was backed by Senate Chairman Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani and some other legislators.
