33 cases of local transmission of COVID-19 in Shikarpur

SUKKUR: Some 33 cases of local transmission of COVID-19 in Shikarpur have created panic and fear. The local administration sealed Dinpur and Hakra Muhalla of Shikarpur after 33 new local transmission cases of COVID-19 were reported. Reports said that 80 samples were collected and out of them, 33 corona positive local transmission cases were confirmed and cases in Shikarpur reached 74. Respectively, two new local transmission cases of COVID-19 were reported from Jacobabad, including a doctor doing duty in Thulh. Reports said that 118 positive cases of COVID-19 have recovered in the quarantine centre, Sukkur. The Nawabshah administration had collected 121 samples and all were found negative. Divisional Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad said that lockdown was being enforced in the division. The administration of Sukkur after negative reports had shifted them to their houses. Meanwhile, the Larkana police on Thursday paid tributes to doctors and paramedics.
