Islamabad : In continuation of ongoing anti-encroachment drive, Enforcement Directorate of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), conducted anti-encroachment operations on Friday and demolished several illegal encroachments established on state land at vicinity of Mandi More and IJP Road, says a press release.
During the operation conducted by the Enforcement Directorate staff demolished and removed 03 ‘chappar’ Hotel, 05 ‘khokhas’, 150 fruit stalls, established on the state land at the vicinity of Mandi Morr to Aalaabad Stop. Moreover, 03 truckloads of goods were confiscated and shifted to the store of Enforcement Directorate. The operation was conducted with the assistance of SHO PS Sabzi Mandi Islamabad, while vacated land has also been handed over to Environment Wing, MCI for plantation.
Similarly, another operation was conducted against illegal encroachment in front of Unit No. 1 of F-10 Markaz, both the verandas were vacated and removed the encroachments from the illegal encroachers in front of shops, for the convenience of the general public.
