FBI veteran gets candid about Savannah Guthrie 'hiring' private investigator
Savannah Guthrie is said to have hired a private investigator for Nancy Guthrie
As Nancy Guthrie has been missing for over 100 days, her family, including her daughter Savannah Guthrie, are sick with grief.
Despite this, the Today anchor went down to explore all options, leaving no stone unturned in finding her mum.
It was earlier reported that she even hired a private investigator for her presumed abduction.
According to The U.S. Sun, Savannah paid nearly $500,000 to find her missing mother.
Weighing in on this, Jason Pack, an ex-FBI agent, told Parade, “I have nothing but respect for that decision."
“When it’s your mother, you exhaust every option available to you," he said.
Pack also pointed out, “A well-resourced investigator can pursue leads."
"And conduct interviews in ways that complement what law enforcement is doing without getting in the way.”'
Pack as well as suggested that hiring a P.I. doesn't mean Guthrie's family of lack of faith in cops.
“Overall, I think, despite the undertones and rumblings, that’s not a complete lack of faith in the investigative team, per se."
"I see it more as a daughter and a family doing everything in their power. Many families do the same thing," he concluded.
Nancy has been missing since Jan 31 near her home in Tucson, Arizona.
