MUZAFFARGARH: A fake Pir killed a woman and her daughter during exorcism at Chah Kandwala, Kot Addu, some 100km from here. Noor Muhammad alias Kalu Bhutta took his sister-in-law Jannat Bibi and her daughter Khalida to the house of Pir Abdul Hameed to get rid of the ghosts from their bodies. The Pir allegedly locked them in a room after burning fire. As a result, they were suffocated. According to the autopsy reports, the woman and her daughter were suffering from gastroenteritis. Meanwhile, the DPO said that a case had been registered against the Pir and his disciple Haseena Bibi, who managed to escape.
