KARACHI: Gerry’s Dnata has commenced its service at three new airports in Pakistan with an investment of over four million dollars, ramping up its scale of operations in the country.
As per the statement, the services were launched at Multan International airport (MUX) on May 1, Quetta International (UET) on June 11, and Faisalabad International (LYP) recently.
Gerry’s expects to increase its staff count by 140 to accommodate the new services at these locations, creating local job opportunities for Pakistanis.
Gerry’s Dnata Vice President Syed Haris Raza said, “The aviation industry in Pakistan continues to grow, and as a trusted partner, our goal is to ensure smooth handling of flights, passengers, and cargo across the country. Our new locations add cargo capacity, passenger handling capabilities and new jobs—a good thing for the industry and the economy.”
The new locations increase the company’s footprint to seven airports, including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Peshawar, making it the largest ground handler in the country, enabling it to welcome over three million passengers annually.
