The Headmasters Association Punjab has warned the Punjab government to refrain from taking ‘action’ against heads of schools otherwise they will be forced to launch a protest drive against the government.
Addressing an education moot organized by the Headmasters Association on Monday, the speakers warned the government.
Besides others the association’s president Rashid Ahmed Bhatti and other office-bearers also spoke on the occasion and came hard on the School Education Department for, what they termed, “frequent” suspensions, summoning and punishments like removal from services. The speakers also demanded the government ensure that the schoolteachers were not involved in non-academic activities. They said the headmasters and schoolteachers would fully support true education friendly initiatives of the government.
LCWU: The Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) has extended the last date for admissions in FA/ FSc 1st Year till August 5, 2015.
According to a press release, the two days extension has been given to facilitate the candidates belonging to flood-affected areas.
