FIA traces member of child pornography racket in Pakistan

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has traced Saadat Amin, who’s a member of international child pornography racket in Pakistan.

Islamabad was informed by Norwegian embassy, through a letter, that the Norwegian police had arrested a man namely James Lindosn in connection with child pornographic content, who told the police that Amin was one of his accomplices in Pakistan. After receiving information, FIA Lahore Cyber Crimes Assistant Director Muhammad Asif Iqbal conducted investigation and it was revealed that Saadat had lured some 25 children between the ages of 8 and 14 years into child pornography. The accused had asked one James Lindstorm, one of his clients in Norway, to arrange for travel documents for him and the children to travel to Norway. It was further revealed that Lindstorm is a member of the international racket of child pornography business. The accused made videos of the children and nude images and sold the content to Lindstorm in Norway. The FIA investigation further revealed that Uncle Manto received US$100-400 as payment for pornographic videos through Western Union.

It was further revealed that Saadat Amin was working in collaboration with other international child pornographers including Giovani Betotti, Italy, Max Hunter, USA, Andrew Moody, UK and Mukhtar from the UK. On Thursday, the court after, hearing the final arguments of both parties, convicted Uncle Manto as sufficient evidence was available against him.
