LAHORE: A Sharif family spokesperson on Thursday said Imran Khan had crossed the last imaginable line by baselessly alleging that Salman Shahbaz was involved in corruption in the energy projects installed by the PML-N government.
The spokesperson warned of legal action if Imran did not stop hurling these allegations. “Salman Shahbaz has had nothing to do with state affairs ever in his life. Such allegations are baseless and utterly condemnable,” he said.
The spokesperson said Imran had nothing to show for the PTI’s five years in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and therefore, “due to his desperation to bring down the PML-N, nobody is safe from his vengeful malicious smear campaigns.” He said Imran should better get himself busy figuring out the corruption allegations regarding the Billion Tree Tsunami and the Banigala property.
