KARACHI: Matco Foods Limited signed an agreement for the supply of 20,000 tons/annum rice glucose manufacturing plant with Beijing Meckey Engineering Co, a statement said on Tuesday.
This new expansion will increase the total production capacity of the company to 30,000 tons rice glucose and 3,000 tons rice protein per annum, respectively.
Khalid Ghori, CEO of Matco Foods said, “The new plant will include 2,000 tons of rice protein section and also a spray dryer plant to manufacture 2,000 tons of maltodextrin/ year, which will contribute towards import substitution.”
