LAHORE: The government of Gilgit-Baltistan sought help of Punjab Food Authority (PFA) in setting up a food authority following the footsteps of the PFA.
A delegation of the GB administration called on PFA Director General Noorul Amin Mengal to seek assistance in administrative and legal matters here Tuesday. On the occasion, PFA scientific penal members were also present.
The PFA DG briefed the team about the legal and administrative model of PFA. He said that PFA is helping other provinces to check adulteration and substandard edibles. He said that besides GB, PFA is also providing assistance to the KP government.
The GB delegation head Sanaullah said that PFA is the best model and soon uniform policy will be implemented in GB. The delegation will spend three days in Punjab and will visit different departments of PFA during stay in Punjab.
