Nawaz trying to run away from polls: PTI
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry alleged that Nawaz Sharif was trying to run away from next general elections and wanted to make the judiciary controversial after his failure to share related documents on Rs300 billion assets.
Addressing a press conference, he said that Imran Khan had been speaking about rigging in general elections since 2013, whereas now Nawaz had also said so; he thanked Nawaz for saying so. He also asked him to explain who the Ladla was, who benefited from polls and how PML-N managed to bag 15 million votes.
Fawad asked how FZE company managed to possess Rs300 billion: how this amount was shifted and who did it. He accused Nawaz of trying to make both the judiciary and the army controversial in order to cover up his corruption.
He challenged Nawaz Sharif to reveal as to who was conspiring against him. Fawad also asked who (beloved) benefited in the previous elections and insisted all knew, who was benefited.
PTI spokesperson questioned under what capacity, a disqualified person was using the Punjab House, asking the government of Punjab to look into this. He alleged both Nawaz and Maryam were accused.
He said it would have been better for Nawaz to use whatsapp instead of holding a news conference during which questions were not allowed to be asked. He slammed Nawaz for not appointing a foreign minister for four years and focussing developing family relations with other countries.
PTI’s Naeemul Haq asserted Nawaz owed an explanation, as to what exactly was the objective of visiting Saudi Arabia, adding it appeared things did not go well for him there and that was why he appeared angry.
Meanwhile, Former president Asif Ali Zardari asked former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif it was better for all to tell what were the secrets which he did not tell in last four years and if there was any secret, he should share with them and bring conspiracy to light.
“If he did not have the secrets to tell till today, he was only wanted to bring unrest as there was no secrets to tell because what secrets he would tell against his own government,” he said while talking to newsmen at the wedding reception of son of former prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf along with former prime ministers of PPP — Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and other senior leaders of the PPP.
In former prime ministers’ brief press talk, the quizzing journalists were more curious to know his response to the press conference of Nawaz Sharif early on day in which he threatened to spills the beans if behind the curtain conspiracies were not stopped.
The former president said Nawaz Sharif was in government and also in opposition and if there was anything going behind the curtain, he should sack them. “Why was he hiding the secrets?” he said.
“Why was Mian Sahib silent when our mandate was being stolen,” Zardari questioned. In reply to question, Zardari said that he was praying for acceptance of Umrah of Nawaz Sharif but did not see any success of his visit to Saudi Arab.
To another question, Zardari said he was doing the politics and would address the public rally in Mirpur Khas and after another Ppblic rally on the eve of birthday anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
When a journalist questioned that he had already knocked out his rivals in Sindh and what he saw party position in Punjab and in South Punjab and how he expected that big names would also join the PPP in coming days, Zardari smilingly skipped the question saying, “You were asking such kind of things which were not to tell.”
