LAHORE: PML-Q leader and former deputy prime minister Ch Pervaiz Elahi has said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif's campaign against the Supreme Court verdict is deplorable and instead of repeatedly saying "mujhey kiyon nikala" (why I was ousted?) he should read the detailed judgement with Urdu translation to get answer to each of his questions.
Talking to a delegation of lawyers which called on him at his residence here on Saturday, he said the objective of Nawaz Sharif's anti-judiciary campaign was to influence NAB references but his attempt would not succeed.
He said the Supreme Court had provided him full opportunity for defence but he could not produce even a piece of paper in his defence.
