PAT to join PTI rally
LAHORE
Pakistan Awami Tehreek has assured complete support to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in the rally against corruption on September 3.
The decision was taken in a meeting held between the leadership of both sides. The delegation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf lead by former Punjab governor and Leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar met PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur.
The PAT assured full participation in accountability rally while Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar assured them of full support for Qisas movement. The PTI delegation comprised of Punjab opposition leader Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed and Information Secretary Punjab Syed Samsam Bukhari.
The PAT delegation comprised of Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Punjab President Basharat Jaspal, and Noorullah Siddique.
Both parties discussed bilateral issues and incompetence, and corruption of government while PAT accepted invitation for 3rd September accountability rally. Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said, ‘PAT had accepted PTI invitation for accountability rally while we’re supporting them on all issues and assure full participation in all PAT protests of Qisas movement.’
Rulers are not only non-serious in accountability but also silent on Indian aggression, Kashmir issue and Altaf hatred remarks, he added.
