IHC seeks report on missing person in four days

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday granted four days to the police to submit a report in a case about the recovery of a missing citizen.Justice Muhammad Azam Khan heard the petition filed by the wife of the missing person, Naseem Butt.Federal Police DSP (Legal) Sajid Cheema appeared before the court.
He informed the court that CCTV footage had been extracted, in which three vehicles could be seen; however, the police had so far been unable to identify the vehicle registration numbers.The DSP sought one week’s time to continue the investigation.
The court, however, directed the police to submit a detailed report within four days and adjourned the hearing.Naseem Butt has been missing since July 9.
