Teen hit to death by speeding van

LAHORE: A 13-year-old boy lost his life after being hit by a speeding van while crossing a road here on Wednesday.

The fatal accident has sparked outrage among local residents who blamed the van’s excessive speed for the loss of life.

Eyewitnesses at the scene reported that the child was attempting to cross the road when the van, travelling at high speed, struck him.

He died on the spot. According to a police spokesperson, the van driver fled the scene immediately after the accident.
