Gold rates up Rs300 per tola

KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs300 per tola on Wednesday in the local market following an increase in the international market.

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association stated that 24 Kt gold rates reached Rs355,000 per tola.Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs257 to Rs304,355.Gold rates increased by $3 to $3,323 per ounce in the international market.

Typically, gold prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.Silver rates remained unchanged at Rs3,963 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also stood the same at Rs3,397.
