Beautification of city reviewed

Rawalpindi:Secretary Housing and Public Health Engineering Department Noorul Amin Mengal visits PHA Rawalpindi office.

He held a special meeting with Director General PHA, Rawalpindi Ahmed Hassan Ranjha. During the meeting, the beautification of Rawalpindi city was discussed. DG PHA Ahmed Hassan Ranjha presented a review of the steps taken by PHA to enhance the beauty of the city and provide a green environment to the public and the achievements of the department.

The current and future plans of PHA for the convenience of the people, entertainment, maintaining a green environment and plantation were discussed. The beautification of the city's main highway, Murree Road, was also discussed.

In addition, Secretary Housing and Public Health Engineering Department Noorul Amin Mengal also participated in the plantation campaign by planting a sapling in the RDA building. Secretary Housing and Public Health Engineering Department Noorul Amin Mengal also visited other beautification sites of PHA including Murree Road.

The performance of Rawalpindi and all the beautification and horticulture projects were highly appreciated and the vision of DG PHA Rawalpindi Ahmed Hassan Ranjha for a lush and beautiful Rawalpindi was highly appreciated.

On this occasion, Noorul Amin Mengal said that all departments should work together for the convenience of the people. PHA Rawalpindi should take better steps to improve the entertainment of the people, arrange shady benches to sit at different places and improve the beauty so that the vision of public service of the Punjab government can be implemented. He further said that the process of ‘rainwater harvesting’ should be made more effective, in this way rainwater can be put to best use. Secretary Housing and Public Health Engineering Department highly appreciated all the public facilities and beautification projects of PHA Rawalpindi in the city.
