CCP approves Secure Logistics Group’s 100pc acquisition of Trax Online
KARACHI: The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) has given the green light to Secure Logistics Group Ltd for the full acquisition of Trax Online (Pvt) Ltd under a share purchase agreement.
The approval follows the submission of a pre-merger application by both parties, in accordance with the Competition Act, 2010. The CCP’s assessment identified the relevant market as courier and e-commerce logistics services in Pakistan.
The transaction is classified as a conglomerate merger, with no horizontal or vertical overlaps between the two entities. The CCP’s review concluded that the deal will not result in market dominance or reduce competition in the relevant sector.
Secure Logistics Group Ltd (SLGL), a publicly listed company, provides a range of logistics services, including long-haul and medium-haul transport, asset tracking, fleet management, and security solutions. Trax Online (Pvt) Ltd is a privately held firm specialising in warehousing and door-to-door delivery services for e-commerce clients.
