PESHAWAR: Girl students of Peshawar Millennium School Charsadda branch visited the National Assembly in Islamabad where they were briefed on its historical importance of the parliament and parliamentary process.
They were warmly welcomed by National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq on their arrival. He said that such visits were an excellent opportunity for the students to develop a better understanding of democracy and politics. The students presented a bouquet of flowers to NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq.
The speaker informed the students about the growing importance and role of women in the country’s economy, development and progress. The students of Peshawar Millennium School visited various sections of the assembly and were briefed on its historical importance. The students described the visit as an educational and informative experience, saying that this visit was the best opportunity for them to understand parliamentary process and gain awareness about democracy.
