'Spice Girls' star Mel C spills rare tea on bandmates' dating lives
Mel C got candid about love life struggle during height of 'Spice Girls' fame
Spice Girls star Melanie Chisholm is spilling some fun details about her bandmates' dating life during the group’s peak fame.
The 52-year-old English singer-songwriter made a recent appearance on Cosmopolitan's Blind Date and was asked which one Spice Girl was "the most boy crazy."
Melanie, also known as Mel C, jokingly tried to phrase her answer carefully, “I would say the best success rate, I'm trying to find a better way of putting it. You know what I'm saying?”
She took a moment to ponder and then named Melanie Brown, also known as Mel B.
“She was very popular,” Mel C added about the singer and TV personality.
Mel C was also asked which Spice Girls gave the best dating advice. Once again, she picked Mel B.
“Probably Mel B because she's a cool girl. She doesn't get too wrapped up in things," she recalled.
The British singer also spoke about dating while constantly being under the public eye.
While admitting it was "difficult", Mel C explained, "You feel so self-conscious when you go out publicly and then you can't meet strangers in private."
Mel C recently dropped her new album Sweat on May 1, making it her ninth studio album.
As for any reunion plans for the Spice Girls, Mel C previously revealed on Australia's The Smallzy Show that they are currently not looking for a reunion.
