“Meghan doesn’t do anything without purpose, so she’s sending a message, isn’t she?"

A royal expert has claimed that Meghan Markle has sent a secret message to her father-in-law King Charles ahead of visit to Britain in July.

Meghan is expected to join her husband Prince Harry to mark an Invictus Games event, the one-year-to-go celebrations and ceremonies, to be held around July 10 in Birmingham.

Meghan and Harry celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary on May 19, and to celebrate the big day, the Duchess took to Instagram and shared several photos from her wedding day.

Meghan shared a carousel of snaps from the ceremony held at Windsor Castle, including one of the newlyweds sharing a tender moment after their nuptials, and another behind-the-scenes photo of the pair having their official wedding portrait taken.

In one of the photos, Meghan’s father-in-law King Charles is also seen.

Reacting to Meghan’s move, royal expert Ingrid Seward told The Mirror Meghan sent a secret message to King Charles with her wedding anniversary post.

She added: “Meghan doesn’t do anything without purpose, so she’s sending a message, isn’t she?

“The message is, ‘We’re still very much part of your family.’ That’s what Harry and Meghan need because I don’t think they knew when they cut themselves off – with Harry’s book and the Oprah interview – just how alienated they were going to be.”
