‘Mentally unwell’ man kills 2 people

PESHAWAR: A man in Badaber town allegedly killed his sister-in-law and later shot dead a cleric who rushed there to take the injured woman to a hospital on Sunday.

Police officials said the accused, who was not mentally stable, allegedly shot and injured his sister-in-law, Rehana.When a local prayer leader, Qari Fayaz, rushed to the scene to take her to the hospital, the accused allegedly shot him. Both the people succumbed to injuries.Locals later opened fire and shot-injured the accused who was said to be in critical condition at a hospital.
