HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad police have claimed that a robber has been killed and his accomplice arrested after a police team encountered the robbers involved in the abduction of businessman Hasan Nasir Nizamani, who was later killed during the rescue operation.
According to a spokesman for the Hyderabad SSP, the businessman was abducted on October 11 from Hyderabad and shifted to Shikarpur. A joint operation was conducted on October 24 in Shikarpur for his recovery, however, he was killed during it.
According to the police, when the hostage saw the police team arriving, he tried to run away from the clutches of the robbers, prompting them to shoot him dead. In the retaliatory action of the police, one robber was killed and another arrested.
On Friday morning, a police team led by Hyderabad Police A Section SHO Naik Muhammad Khoso, Hosri SHO Maqsood Raza and Rahuki SHO Qurban Aqilani arrested another bandit, Abdul Qadir Sial, in connection with Nizamani’s kidnapping and killed another robber identified as Abdul Wahab Veser.
