FIA registers FIR to probe Dr Shahnawaz murder case

HYDERABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Mirpurkhas, has filed an FIR to investigate the case of Dr Shahnawaz Kunbhar, the blasphemy accused who was killed in an alleged encounter with the police.
Forty-six suspects have been nominated in the FIR that was registered by FIA officials on the order of the Sindh High Court’s Mirpurkhas circuit bench.
The FIA officials submitted a copy of the FIR to the Mirpurkhas Anti-Terrorism Court. Dismissed Mirpurkhas DIG Javed Jaskani, dismissed Mirpurkhas SSP Asad Ali Chaudhry, dismissed Umerkot SSP Asif Raza Baloch, Maulana Umar Jaan Sarhandi, a CIA officer and others have been nominated in the case for investigation.
