LAHORE: The kidnapper of playwright Khalilur Rehman Qamar was arrested from Peshawar on Tuesday.

Accused Hasan Shah honey-trapped Khalilur Rehman Qamar and demanded ransom. According to police, the accused and his accomplice Rafique were arrested from Peshawar. The accused was running a gang of 12 members. The police have already arrested a female member of the gang.

The accused tortured the playwright, snatched his mobile phone, watch and cash and also transferred Rs250,000 from his ATM card.
