QUETTA: The Deputy Commissioner of Mastung has dismissed 18 Levies personnel from service for showing negligence during a terrorist attack on the Kardgap Levies Station.
According to a statement issued by the Deputy Commissioner Mastung, on June 21, terrorists launched a coordinated assault on the Kirdgap Levies Station, the Tehsil Court, and the Nadra office. The attack resulted in significant damage to the Levies station, where the assailants managed to seize firearms, communication equipment, and other essential supplies from the premises. The statement further revealed that during the incident, the Levies personnel on duty failed to perform their responsibilities adequately. Acting on a report submitted by the Assistant Commissioner of Kardgap, the Deputy Commissioner took strict action against the negligent officers.
The following Levies personnel have been dismissed under the Balochistan Levies Force Disciplinary Rules 2015: Daffadar Muhammad Rahim, Sepoy Abrar Hussain, Shah Faisal, Muhammad Ashfaq, Abdul Rasool, Saadullah, Syed Rehmat Shah, Mubashir Ahmed, Muhammad Tahir, Khuda Bakhsh, Ghulam Muhammad, Bismillah, Abdul Malik, Muhammad Ashraf, Mohiuddin, Naveed Ahmed, Muhammad Zahid, and Aziz Ahmed.
The decision to terminate their services was made effective immediately as part of disciplinary measures to ensure accountability and to reinforce the importance of duty and vigilance among security forces.
