Lady cop escapes unhurt in firing

NOWSHERA: Unidentified gunmen attacked a lady sub-inspector of Motorway Police in Bara Banda Chowk on Nowshera-Mardan road on Sunday.
Javeria, a sub-inspector of Motorway Police, told the police that she was going for duty on Peshawar-Islamabad Motorway in her car ABG-316 from Bara Banda.She said that when she reached a filling station near Bara Banda Stop on Nowshera-Mardan road, unknown gunmen opened fire on her, damaging the windscreen and bonnet of her car.The complainant said that she narrowly escaped and the attacker fled the scene after firing.
