QUETTA: A security forces official was martyred while another was injured in an explosion in the Akhtar Abad area near the Western Bypass in Quetta.
According to the police, on Saturday, an explosive device planted by unknown terrorists on the roadside in the Akhtar Abad area near the Western Bypass in Quetta exploded martyring driver of the vehicle Adnan on the spot and injuring the other.
After the explosion, police and other law enforcement agencies reached the site and cordoned off the area. The body and the injured was rushed to the hospital. Other security forces personnel on board the vehicle remained safe miraculously.
