With this letter, I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authorities to the distressing issue of the ongoing salary delays affecting some of our esteemed colleagues here at University of Karachi. This situation is deeply troubling and contradicts the principles of fairness and basic human rights. Regardless of any ongoing legal matters or inquiries necessitating administrative procedures, the halt in salary payments is totally unjustified. Our colleagues continue to diligently fulfil their routine assignments related to teaching and/or research, despite the financial strain and emotional distress caused by the seemingly unending delay.
The persistent stoppage of salary disregards the well-being of our colleagues and undermines the fundamental values of fairness and dignity that should guide our institution. Therefore, we urge the administration to take immediate steps to resolve this issue.
