I am a single-occupant residential consumer of KE living in DHA, Karachi. I was shocked to see my electricity bills over the past three months, which reached up to Rs17958 for June despite the fact that I have been abroad since the last week of May.
Any sane person would want to know just how these bills are calculated. Is KE given a free hand to apply any formula they like and to fleece the consumer until the people are left with no choice but to engage in agitation and demonstrations?
