Rule of law stressed
LAHORE: Chairman of the First Democratic Front (FDF), Col (retd) Raja Javed Mujtaba while addressing a meeting held at the FDF Secretariat here said that establishing the rule of law in the country could play a key role in the national development.
He asserted that making elections affordable for the middle class is crucial for achieving this goal. According to a press release issued on Monday, Javed Mujtaba also expressed concern over the record-breaking inflation and increased taxes, which have exacerbated poverty conditions.
The meeting saw good attendance from FDF members, including senior figures such as
Secretary General Syed Tanvir Imran, Secretary Information Mrs Nazneen Anwar Advocate, Iqanullah Raja, Mian Tariq, Sheikh Irfan and Ishtiaq Khan.
