LAHORE: In an ongoing campaign, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) disconnected another 28 connections in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Islamabad and imposed Rs0.7 million fine.
During the ongoing crackdown against gas pilferers, SNGPL continued raids in Punjab, KP and Islamabad, disconnecting another 28 connections and imposed Rs0.7 million fine, said a spokesman of the gas utility.
In Lahore, the team disconnected 06 connections on illegal use of gas. In Multan the team disconnected 14 connections on illegal use of gas. The regional team of Shiekhupura booked an amount of Rs0.68 million against gas theft cases.
In Bahawalpur the team disconnected 08 connections on use of compressors. The regional team of Faisalabad imposed a fine of thousand against gas theft cases.
