Khairpur Mirs is counted among the largest cities of Sindh but its drainage system has always been inadequate. The municipal authority has learned no lesson from the recent devastating floods situation.
Neither has it taken precautions for future challenges nor has it worked on the existing flaws in the drainage system. The local authorities should take notice and solve this issue on an urgent basis.
