Death anniversary of Aoun Rizvi today

Islamabad : On the occasion of the 25th death anniversary of former controller of PTV and social personality Aoun Muhammad Rizvi Shaheed, the annual ‘majlis aza’ will be held today (Sunday), at the Markazi Imambargah, G-6/2, here, says a press release.

On the occasion of the anniversary, Quran khawani will be held at 11 a.m. at the Markazi Imambargah. While the ‘majlis’ will start at 1 o’clock after the ‘zohrain’ prayers. Allama Syed Shahshah Hussain Naqvi, Zakir Waseem Abbas Baloch, Shaukat Raza Shaukat, Zakir Iqbal Shah Bajar, Khatib Qamar Haider Zaidi will address the ‘majlis’. While, Kazimi brothers will present ‘Manqbat’ and ‘Noha Khwani.’ Poet Iftikhar Arif will present the tribute to Aoun Muhammad Rizvi, and Firdous Alam will be the moderator on the occasion.
