Governor offers Eid prayer at Badshahi Masjid
LAHORE:Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan offered Eid-ul-Azha prayer at Badshahi Masjid with thousands of people on Monday.
After Eid prayer, special prayer was offered for the country's development, prosperity, stability, peace and especially for the martyrs of the Pakistan Army and other security forces. On this occasion, special prayer was also offered for the freedom of the Palestinian and Kashmiri Muslims. Punjab governor also met with the people at the Badshahi Masjid. People were very happy to find the governor amongst them.
Later, Punjab governor visited SOS Children's Village to spend Eid with the children. He announced a donation of Rs one million for the children of SOS Village. He distributed Eidi among the children and also cut a cake. The governor appreciated the management of SOS Children's Village for taking good care of the children. He also invited the children to visit the Governor’s House.
