Hot weather to continue

LAHORE : Hot and dry weather was recorded in the city here on Saturday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.

Met officials said continental air was prevailing over most parts of the country while a shallow westerly wave was present over northern parts of the country. They predicted that mainly hot and dry weather was expected in most parts of the country while very hot in central/southern parts. Saturday’s highest maximum temperature was recorded at Sibbi where mercury reached 47°C while in Lahore it was 43°C and minimum was 29.5°C.
