ISLAMABAD: A car of a diplomat hit a bike-riding policeman at Radio Pakistan Chowk, who was shifted to hospital in critical condition Monday evening, police said.
The car was driven by a Third Secretary of British High Commission to Pakistan, while the cop, identified as Amir Dad, is associated with Security Division of Islamabad Police and was deployed at Diplomatic Enclave, a spokesman of Islamabad Police confirmed when contacted. The spokesman said that it was a road accident as the diplomat’s car was passing through the intersection and hit the bike coming from the opposite side. The Secretariat Police have registered a simple report and cleared the diplomat, the police sources said.
