Body to probe LGH employee, patient issue
LAHORE:Taking strict notice of the dispute between a pharmacy technician and a patient in Lahore General Hospital, Principal Prof Al Farid Zafar has asked for a detailed report from the Medical Superintendent.
The principal has directed that any kind of negligence in this matter should be treated strictly and the person who committed the foul play should be punished in any case. On the instructions of the Principal, LGH MS Dr Faryad Hussain has issued orders to suspend the Pharmacy Technician Sabir Arshad Sheikh from his job.
Moreover, according to the instructions of the Principal Prof Al Farid Zafar, a high-level Committee has also been formed to investigate into the matter and submit a report as soon as possible. MS directed the committee members to ascertain the facts in the light of CCTV cameras and on-the-spot witness statements so that the actual situation can be realised and strict action could be taken, accordingly.
