LAHORE: Punjab police teams conducted 288 raids on the hideouts of drug dealers across the province during the last 24 hours.
Police teams registered 140 cases and arrested 142 drug pushers. Punjab Police spokesperson said that a total of 25,012 raids were conducted on the hideouts of drug dealers; 11,619 cases were registered and 12,186 accused had been arrested since February 26. Around 7,556 kilograms of charas, 122 kilograms of heroin, over 266 kilograms of opium, 37 kilograms of ice, and 148,269 liters of alcohol were recovered from them.
