LAHORE: The 52nd meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) F.Y. 2023-24 was held under the Chairmanship of Chairman Planning and Development (P&D) Board Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan on Friday and approved three development schemes of specialised healthcare, roads, and UD sector with an estimated cost of Rs44.682 billion.
The approved schemes included Establishment of Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology, Sargodha at the cost of Rs9.866 billion, Construction/ Widening of Katchery Chowk at Rawalpindi, Tehsil & (New) District Rawalpindi at the cost of Rs1.819 billion, and Construction of Rawalpindi Ring Road-R3(38.3 KM) Main Carriageway (MCW) from Banth (N-5) to Thalian (M-2) at the cost of Rs32.997 billion.
Secretary P&D Board Dr Asif Tufail, Chief Economist Nasir Iqbal Malik, members P&D Board, Head of relevant depts and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments attended the meeting.
