Critical flaws

Pakistan’s education system is outdated and inefficient and it does not guarantee bright prospects for students. It is not able to provide them with practical skills and students mostly read books and prepare for exams. There is no use in a degree that does not impart practical skills. Universities should work towards developing links with other sectors and provide internships to students so that they can get hands-on experience.

At the school level, practical studies should be prioritised over theory. There is also a lack of career counselling in the Pakistani education system. The majority of students have no idea what field they’re supposed to specialize in. Career counselling should be made mandatory in every school and college.
