Regina Hall reveals her working experience with Leonardo DiCaprio
American actress discusses her upcoming movie, ‘One Battle After Another’ alongside Leonardo DiCaprio
Regina Hall has recently shared her working experience with Titanic star Leonardo DiCaprio in her upcoming movie, One Battle After Another.
The Scary Movie 2 actress revealed to PEOPLE what it's like working with Leonardo while promoting her collaboration with Bounty.
“It was amazing,” said the 54-year-old while reflecting on her working relationship with Inception actor.
Regina also praised her director Paul Thomas Anderson, saying that she’s “a big fan” of the award-winning writer-director.
“I was so excited to be a part of a movie that he was making,” remarked the Girls Trip star.
Regina told the outlet that she was “incredibly curious” while reading the script.
“What is this movie?' ... There's a lot of laughter, strong messaging, humour, wit,” explained the Best Man actress.
For the unversed, the new movie is reportedly based on Thomas Pynchon's 1990 novel Vineland, Warner Bros.
According to movie’s plotline, One Battle After Another revolves around “a group of ex-revolutionaries who reunite to face an enemy resurfacing after 16 years”.
Elsewhere in the interview, Regina also opened up about a starry cast which includes Benicio del Toro, Teyana Taylor, Sean Penn, Alana Haim, Chase Infiniti, Wood Harris and more.
“The cast, I loved,” mentioned the actress, calling the ensemble “an incredible group”.
“I love Leo, Benicio, Sean Penn — Teyana's amazing,” she continued.
Before concluding, Regina gushed over Paul saying there’s “no part that’s insignificant”.
“Even if they have one line, he's so deliberate in his movie-making. And I'm really excited for audiences to experience it for themselves,” added the actress.
Meanwhile, One Battle After Another will release in theatres on September 26.
