LDA City allottees to get possession of plots tomorrow

LAHORE : The allottees in LDA City will get possession of their plots on Dec 30, 2023 (tomorrow) after a wait of over 11 years.

The decision of giving physical possession to hundreds of allottees was taken in a meeting chaired by Commissioner Lahore/LDA DG Muhammad Ali Randhawa here on Thursday.

In the meeting, it was informed in the briefing that preparations have been completed for the possessions in Jinnah Sector C Block.

In the first phase, more than 1,500 allottees of C Block were being given possessions of 5, 10 marla, one and two kanal plots. There were parks, sports complex, cricket stadium and other facilities in the C block consisting of 1,200 kanals.

The structure of Chenab Road Bridge has been completed and finishing work was in progress while work on the facilitation centre was also progressing rapidly and award will also be issued for the acquisition of remaining land of Jinnah sector.

Commissioner Lahore said that on the instructions of caretaker CM Punjab, the old standing issue of allottees of LDA City has been resolved. Additional DG Headquarters, Director LDA City and Project Director attended the meeting.
