This refers to the letter ‘Gas crisis’ (December 2, 2023) by Musharba Manzoor. It is surprising to note that all the closed CNG stations have been reopened over the last two weeks in Punjab while domestic and industrial consumers have been suffering a lot due to gas shortages.
The relevant authorities need to look into this issue as precious natural gas is being wasted. CNG stations should be closed down with immediate effect.
