Maryam chairs youth, women’s wings meeting

LAHORE: Senior Vice President and Chief Organiser of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) Maryam Nawaz Sharif Wednesday presided over a meeting of the party’s youth and women wings, focusing on organisational matters and preparations forthe upcoming general elections. Maryam directed the completion of the organisational structure up to the ward level, emphasising merit, accountability, ideological commitment, and recognition of sacrifices made by dedicated workers. 

Addressing the assembly, she highlighted that the PMLN stands as the largest representative party for the youth and women, expressing her commitment to embarking on a journey for the progress of Pakistan, its youth, and women under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif.

“With the guidance of Nawaz Sharif, we will elevate representation for youth and women at every level,” she said, pledging continuous efforts to surpass historical initiatives for the progress of the youth and women. She outlined a comprehensive package for their economic development, employment, and skill enhancement. Maryam articulated plans to provide opportunities in education, health, and sports, support for initiating businesses, and creating a future that only Nawaz Sharif’s leadership can illuminate for the youth. 

“A his-toric package will be provided for the economic progress, employment, and skill development of youth and women,” declared Maryam Nawaz Sharif. She underscored ensuring equal opportunities in society for women and fostering a policy centered on education, health, and employment for women and youth. “We will empower Pakistan by empowering women,” said Maryam, pledging to create an environment where women and youth become skilled and capable contributors to society. 

The policy framework will focus on education, health, and employment for women and youth, with an emphasis on encouraging startups, she pledged. Maryam Nawaz Sharif urged the youth and women to play a central role in the upcoming electoral campaign, acknowledging and appreciating their unwavering commitment and enthusiasm
