Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari telephoned Shahryar Taseer on Tuesday and congratulated him and his family on the recovery of Shahbaz Taseer, son of slain Punjab governor Salmaan Taseer.
Taseer had been kidnapped near his company’s head office in Lahore on August 26, 2011, over seven months after the assassination of his father by an official police guard, Mumtaz Qadri. His recovery came days after Qadri was hanged to death.
Bilawal said Taseer’s recovery was a happy event for his family, as well as for the PPP workers and the people of Pakistan.
He demanded the immediate recovery of Ali Haider Gillani, son of former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, would also be rescued very soon from the clutches of his kidnappers.
