Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad

IT’S SHOW TIME!

The trailer of Pakistan’s most awaited feature film Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad was released recently in Karachi. The film stars Fahad Mustafa, playing the role of a super cop, along with Mahira Khan, in her long awaited appearance on the big screen since 2019’s Superstar. She appears to be playing a playful, adventurous and cheeky character, as opposed to the emotional leading lady we’ve seen her play in the past Other co-stars include the veteran Nayyer Ejaz, the ever-green Javed Sheikh, the legendary actor Qavi Khan, and the instantly recognisable actor, Mehmood Aslam.

The trailer showcases several fight scenes, some celebratory dance numbers and a climactic sequence with a bike chase that will be a first for Pakistani cinema. With a premise based on a cop fighting the corrupt system, the film appears to include action, romance, and the usual masala and like all of Fizza Ali Meerza and Nabeel Qureshi’s films, a social message. is a powerful one for the mass audience and will echo throughout Pakistan if the film plays its cards right. The project is reportedly the fifth collaboration between Mustafa and film director Nabeel Qureshi.

Two of the biggest names of the industry are coming together for the first time on screen, which has already garnered a lot of attention ahead of the release of their much-anticipated project.

Several stars from the Pakistan showbiz industry were seen on the trailer launch of the film. And the trailer surely seemed like a fabulous time for you on Eid.

Lafangey

IT’S SHOW TIME!

Coming our way this Eid, the movie Lafangey looks like a hilarious one. The upcoming film belongs to the horror-comedy genre; a combination you don’t see a lot in Pakistan. Starring Mani, Sami Khan, Nazish Jahangir, Saleem Meraj, Mubeen Gabol and Behroze Sabzwari. The film has been directed and produced by Abdull Khaaliq Khan and Khan has written the film as well. Divulging some interesting details about the movie, Mani shared that Nazish Jahangir will be playing a ghost in the film. “It is a horror-comedy movie and the story is funny and we had a lot of fun making it,” he said

With a different and interesting storyline, the movie is all set to take you by surprise and provide an enjoyable movie watching experience with friends and family during the Eid holidays.

Rehbra

IT’S SHOW TIME!

A tale of finding your perfect soulmates, Pakistani rom-com and action packed film Rehbra is directed by Amin Iqbal and produced by Saira Afzal. The story revolves around how the universe works its magic through various routes and channels to bring two together. The characters namely Bublee and Danish who are oblivious of being soul mates, get to experience a wonderful journey of adventure, romance, courage and patience drawing them closer to one another. In discovering their journey of being soul mates they end up becoming each other’s rehbra.

Starring Ayesha Omar, Ahsan Khan, Saba Faisal, Sohail Sameer, Sarish Khan, Adnan Hyder and Ghulam Mohiuddin, with a special dance number by Rimmal, the film promises action, drama, romance and comedy and a meaningful message. The title track is sung of the movie is sung by Asim Azhar and the music is by Simab Sen. Unveiling the movie’s title song, the debutant US-based Pakistani producer, Saira Afzal shared, “We have invested a lot of time, money and hard work in this movie to create an experience that audiences will enjoy on the silver screen. I am hoping that this song bears testimony to our efforts.”

The movie is currently playing in cinemas nationwide and would be a treat to enjoy during the Eid holidays.
