A graduate of National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA), Muneeb Baig officially started off as an actor in the year 2014. However, his first work dates back in 2008 with Rahat Kazmi’s ‘Adhay Adhooray’. He also did ‘Uncle Vanya’ directed by Zia Mohyeddin under the banner of NAPA. His other works include ‘Mulzim Ya Mujrim’, ‘Apartment #746’, ‘Rehearsal’ and ‘Twins Apart by Stage Nomad’, ‘Hua Kuch Yun’ by Kopykat, ‘Conversation’ by Syna production, ‘Pagla Godha’ by Badal Sarkar, ‘Ali Baba Chalees Chor’ by Green Eye and the recent stint ‘No Question’ at the Sada-e-Nau Festival by IB Production. This aspiring and talented actor also did Servis TV commercial alongside Fawad Khan. “I took inspiration from every artist. I realised in early years of my life that art is the truest most beautiful way of expression.” As an actor, Muneeb has never limited his acting career. Did you always want to pursue career as a theatre actor?

Yes, but not only limited to theatre.

What do you like most about acting in theatre?

The fact that it is all live, unfiltered.

Are theatre actors serious by nature?

Extremely. No doubts on this. Those who are not will eventually not qualify as theatre actors.

Haven’t found it yet.

Your favourite work:

Yet to do. I believe there is always a room for improvement.

At this point of life, what song can be your life’s theme song?

Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics.

It varies. In acting, it depends on the demand of the character. In personal life, I’ll keep this a secret.
